Following the success of recent projects in France, Mountpark has appointed Paris based Prisme Real Estate Consulting & Asset Management (PREC AM) to support its land procurement strategy across the country.

PREC AM will assist Mountpark’s Paris based team in securing new sites for development projects. The firm’s role will encompass search and acquisition of greenfield and brownfield sites for the delivery of logistics, alongside identifying opportunities for mixed use developments.

Nicholas Jordan, Mountpark’s Development Director in France comments: “Our recent success in France has demonstrated a clear appetite to continue developing state of the art logistics schemes across the country. However, unlocking French land remains a complicated and often protracted process.   Bringing PREC AM on board enables us to pursue multiple large projects simultaneously, utilising their proven proficiency to unlock complex sites, liaise with relevant authorities and accelerate the delivery of projects to meet market demand.”

Jean de Beaufort, Chairman of PREC AM, added: “I am thrilled to be supporting Mountpark, a prominent player in European logistics real estate. This is a fantastic opportunity to actively contribute to Mountpark’s dynamic development strategy. PREC AM is laser focussed on securing prime locations that enable Mountpark to broaden its French portfolio, delivering world-class assets that meet the social, economic and environmental goals of today’s logistics occupiers.”

Since its inception in France in 2017, Mountpark successfully preleased and developed both properties at the Mountpark Orléans (Meung-sur-Loire) scheme, a 175,000 sqm logistics site, which was sold to JP Morgan. At its second major project, Mountpark Chartres (Illiers Combray & Blandainville), its 36,000 sqm inventory unit was delivered in April and was fully leased in July, with the lease commencing in January 2025.

The entire Mountpark Chartres project will provide three BREEAM Excellent logistics properties totalling 271,245 sqm, set within a leafy 60-hectare site.
