Mountpark has completed a 25,000 sq m extension at Mountpark Orléans in Meung-sur-Loire for Alloga, part of US-based Cencora.
The extension, managed by Mountpark and built by GSE, was delivered ahead of schedule in February 2025.
The expanded facility enables Alloga, a subsidiary of Alliance Healthcare France, the leading pharmaceutical pre-wholesaler in the country, to accommodate anticipated business growth and enhance its logistics operations. The extension reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability, achieving BREEAM ‘Very Good’ and BiodiverCity certification, and the roof is structurally enabled to accept photovoltaic roof panels which will shortly be added and will generate on-site renewable energy.
Daniel Pais, Mountpark’s Director of Projects for France, who managed the project, commented, “This extension provides Alloga with a modern, high-performance logistics platform to meet the needs of customers. The construction programme with GSE ran incredibly smoothly and we are proud to have delivered the project well within the expected Q1 window.”
Mountpark Orléans, strategically located near the A10 motorway linking Paris to Bordeaux, benefits from excellent connectivity. The park, situated in the Synergie Val de Loire business district, now totals 150,000 square meters and includes two logistics properties. One is leased to M2Log, handling logistics for French motoring group Mobivia, and the other to Alloga.
Institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management acquired Mountpark Orléans on a VEFA (forward funding) basis in March 2021.
Mountpark is currently advancing its latest French development, Mountpark Chartres. Comprising three logistics properties in Illiers-Combray, in January 2025, a 9-year lease was secured for 35,583 sq m Unit 2. The following month, Amazon selected Unit 1 for the construction of a 118,500 sq m Amazon Robotics Sortable Fulfilment Centre. The remaining opportunity, Unit 3, is fully permitted and offers flexibility to deliver between 40,000-112,600 sq m of logistics space within 12-15 months.
